    The One cannot control your DVR, it can only change channels when watching live TV. To use your DVR or on-demand from Dish, you have to use your remote. Honestly with all the issues (surround sound in beta, users reporting lag and grainy-ness), and the
    fact I watch most things via DVR, I don't think I'm going to hook up my DirecTV through it.

    Good news, but it doesn't do me a lick of good considering I can't watch TV through my Xbox One (no cable box) and can't use SmartGlass effectively (no tablet or smartphone). New Xbox One TV Tools in the Works; DVR Control & OneGuide :(

    This is great news, I have been waiting for this patiently. Can't wait to flick from waiting for friends to join my titanfall group to TV and back again simply by saying xbox go to titanfall.... etc New Xbox One TV Tools in the Works; DVR Control & OneGuide :)

    GG.. go buy yourself chromecast TV thingy... I seen one at radio shack.. a very similar model for like $20.00. states 1000S of channels... chromecast is only $40 anyways

    anyways.. very happy we get to edit on the tablet finally... so much easier... and convenient...

    Excellent! Now Microsoft needs to work on making it so I can manage my game clips and view the marketplace on Smartglass. Then it'd be the perfect companion app.

    I'm in the beta and just messing about with the one guide now here in the UK. I have an old Humax freeview box and I got it set up in minutes. Very impressive. Nice graphics for each TV channel, with info displayed for each show you highlight. I'm gonna
    have to upgrade to a HD box now! This is just so cool. Hope they get this rolled out to everyone soon.
