    I just bought the Tv remote controller, I commend Microsoft for doing a decent job. Though I have to say I hope they do more work on it like perhaps a last button as one example. One frustrating problem is the size and awkward feeling in the hand. The
    size issue is they could make the bottom of the controller longer with no buttons so I have something to grip while pushing the lower buttons. The awkward feeling is the back of the controller is too rounded and it seems slipperier than it appears(maybe make
    one with a more textured grip on the back). Don't get me wrong I like it but?. I hope you develop a better one down the road soon, I will gladly buy it if improved in the right way.

    Media Remote for Xbox One

    Im stoked ill finally be able to combine my tv remote, xbox controller, and soundbar remote into an all in one remote now

    The new media remote works just like your controller. The programming is done under settings in your Xbox One. The remote uses the IR Blaster in your Kinect to control your TV, receiver and cable box. If this hasn't been set up in the Xbox One...you wont
    be able to control those items.

    I believe it controls the remote functions, via the blaster. Like using a new one for all remote or sky remote (does with your tv) to run the freeview box functionality..
