New Xbox One (Titanfall Ed), Turns on then back off, Energy Save Mode

So I got my X1 2 weeks ago, I got the Titanfall Ed, and for 10 days the system worked fine.

About 4 days ago, I decided that I didn't want the power brick staying on (I hadn't realized that it would stay on with "White Light" since the X1 was on, with the ability to turn on via voice commands), because I could hear the fan going on.

Went ahead into the Settings Menu and put the system in the "Energy Saving Mode", so that it wouldn't turn on via the Kinect. So when I shut off the Xbox One, instead of the Power Brick Light staying on in WHITE, the Power Brick now went to Orange in the
Standby Mode/Energy.

Now after staying off for a few hours I went to turn on the system, and low and behold, it would Turn on for a few sec's and Immediately shut right off. My power brick is supposed to be working according to the trouble shooting guide (since the light is
on orange). But Kept trying over and over again, I disconnected all the connections, and power. Let the power Brick reset itself, reconnected, but still the system did not turn on. Connected the power brick directly to the wall outlet, still no dice. Then
suddenly after multiple disconnects, the system turned on. (good I thought it was just some random event)

Then the next day, after the Unit being off for half the day, the same thing happened Again! After multiple attempts again, disconnecting re-connecting. Finally turned on again.

Then today, 3rd time in a row, after being off for a couple of hours, the system refuses to turn on. Light goes on then shuts right back off, and it isn't till I play a game with the system of disconnecting and reconnecting that it finally turns on.

So basically, the issue seems to be when on the ENERGY SAVING MODE, once I have it on the "Instant On Mode" , then the system has no problems turning On.

So what gives, anyone have this issue? I'm a hop and skip away from seeing If I can return this to Target for a refund, I really don't want to be dealing with this nonsense.

Fan spins before Powering off the Xbox

I have a question regarding turning off the Xbox one in energy save mode. When I turn off the console, the fan turns on and spins up for a half second right before the xbox powers off. Is this normal?

 

Instant on or Energy Saving?

Instant on is basically is standby mode and energy saver turns the console off completely. I use energy saver as I like to keep track of data usage and I turn everything off at the wall when I am done to save electricity costs.

 

Almost the same here..it startet 2 days ago (purchased mine in 3 month ago)...I shut down my xbox one over night and when in tried to start it yesterday it just turnt on and immediately off again...tried it like 50 times and suddenly it worked...so I thought
its just something that wont happen again...today I wanted to start my Xbox One again and the same problem appears with no reason...tried every connection, different electric socket`s and so on...nothing seems to work...

 

I had exact same problem,but when on instant xb1 booted up ok.took loads of time unplugging etc to get it work from power saveing mode.i managed to get a replcement xb1,touch wood no issues as yet.i kind of suspect now there was a problem with the power
brick it was loud when on instant mode unlike the replacement brick which is quiet and clicks now again.
