New Xbox One, Sad owner....

So I just bought my Xbox One and found out that none of my games work on it... For the last 2 years I have only bought digital games.... This is great.... Can anyone help me with joining the backwards compatible program....

Harmonix reportedly cancelled an Xbox One game

Well, not really saddened by this since I'm not yet an owner of any Xbox console with Kinect. But yeah, it is a bit sad to see another potential Xbox One game cancelled. Well, maybe Harmonix still has something in the works for the Xbox One. We'll just have to wait.

You didn't hear 'backwards compatibility' and run out and buy an Xbox One thinking all your games would work, did you? You know there's currently only a limited list of titles, sure it will get bigger, but right now most of your games won't work, even when
you're in the preview program.

 

Naw I own the original Xbox 360 and a slim. I've heard so much about the Xbox One that I finally decided to buy one. Now I found out I cant even play titles like Titan Fall with my 360 friends... Its not looking good for me keeping my Xbox One long.

 

so because u cant play titanfall on xbox one with ur 360 mates ur going to sell ur xbox one. first of why would u even buy a xbox one to play titanfall with them when u could just play it on ur 360? no where as anyone said u can cross play games

 

You heard so much about the Xbox One, but you didn't hear you can't cross platform play when that's what you wanted it to do the most? I'm just thoroughly confused with this and backing away slowly now.

 

Really....... you made the assumption that ALL your 360 games would work on the X1.... or is this a feeble attempt for a pity preview program invite...??

 

how is this even possible and why does does this still happen to people in this day and age... everyone is online 24/7/365 and yet make bad decision based on "research" they did or heard which is usually wrong...

and Op it is not the bC program.. it is a preview program to help the XB become a better machine... not just so you can play some old 360 game on it... or get access to games earlier etc etc.. if you are upset already about the XB the preview is most likely
not for you

 

I would never purchase a console just for BC that's just dumb. Why don't you play some games that aren't on the 360 like The Witcher3 or Batman Arkham Knight? You can still play your 360 games on your 360 for now. Around Christmas is when BC takes effect
hold on to your XB1 untill then. There are too many good games on XB1 that aren't on 360.

 

Sounds like my friend. He bought a PS4 expecting he could play Super Smash Bros. with this friends that where playing on the Wii. Boy was he disappointed.

 

The title of this thread seems to fit. The OP does seem kinda sad.

 

Or all of the Hype about future BC has gone overboard. Never has there been so many people wanting to "preview" the xb1.

There is no cross game play sorry. There are a few games available to play if you are on the preview dashboard, but hold on and around November 100 titles are estimated to be available. Xbox One is an amazing console there's a lot to play, plus right now
the Ultimate Summer sale is on and you can get a lot of games on the cheap. I still play my 360 and Xbox one both are awesome , keep it you'll regret not having one when the remastered gears of war hits in August
