New Xbox One S wont install games

Either by disc or downloading. I've tried the troubleshooting options such as power cycling, deleting cache, rebooting, going offline to install and factory console resets. When I insert disc or start a download/install, you can hear the Hard drive start
spinning and the download begins. Several seconds later, I will get "install stopped" message. When I click to get details, it will say to try install again or reference error code 0x8007045d. I can keep retrying the install and very very slowly make progress
1% at a time but nothing consistent. My next step is to send in for repairs as perhaps I'm thinking there is an issue with my internal HDD? Very limited info on this problem from what I can find online.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a Xbox One console. I want to buy the new Xbox One S instead. What happens to all my games that I bought and downloaded? Can I re-install those on my new Xbox One S ?

Sorry to hear about the issue. First let's suspend the download and try running your Xbox One console's Detailed Network Statistics (found in the

Xbox One's Network Settings) and let us know what the results are. Additionally, try doing another Detailed Network Statistics while the download/install is occurring to see if that number changes while you're installing a game. Please post each of the
results of that test, if the results on the second test are really close then feel free to just post up the first results so we can see if this could be related to a network issue.

Kindly check first if you have enough space on your hard drive for any game installation.

If it has enough space, please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Try setting up manual DNS settings.

1. Please go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings >> manual

2. Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222

3. Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220

Solution 3: Please try setting up a mobile hotspot connection using your phone, then connect the console to the hotspot connection. Try updating or installing any game and see if it works.

Solution 4: Do a factory reset.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

I've tried this but on the new Xbox one s the ready to install doesn't show any of my purchased downloaded games that are available on my old Xbox one s.

Lol,you are not going to get an xbox one x as a replacement for a xbox one s.

You'll either get the same console back or a replacement xbox one s which wont be a new console either.

Well first xbox series s wont install disk games. It will only play digital bought games not disk games you need a non digital console like xbox one )not digital editions ) or series x

Second you need patches for upgraded games especially for the compression chip and you would get the appropriate files for the series s via smart delivrry if compatible
