    New Xbox one S update not working.


    I will be sure to advise everyone not to but an xbox ever. I have just bought a new xbox one S as my old one died after several years and it needs a system update on power up. This however is only working at kb/s and its a 5 plus GB download.

    This is truly shocking for the money paid for this system.

    Very disappointing.

    Tried multiple ways of downloading and power cycling everything, i have 80mbs download speed.

    Sorry to hear it. This may be due to the fact that more people than normal are using the internet and services such as Xbox in general. Too many people put a strain on the servers slowing them down.

    However, please try powercycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down to see if that helps speed it up

    Exactly thats why they need to add more servers or tell people not to buy products that need update, or sell the product updated how about that.
