    Hi,

    I just opened up my new xbox one s and hooked up the console. I went through the update and everything was fine. Now it is asking me to sign in to my Microsoft account. However, it appears stuck. None of the buttons on the controller are able to do anything
    anymore, so I cannot click 'Next' to perform the sign in. I tried rebooting the machine, but it brings me back to the same place with the same problem. I'm thinking of returning the box. I'm not sure what else to do at this point.

    360 and One on same gold account

    If I sign in to Xbox Live on my Xbox One, will I also be able to sign in on the same account on my 360 at the same time? Say someone is using the Xbox One in the living room and I'm playing my 360 in my bedroom. Will I be able to use the same account?


    WHITTEN: Yes this works! You'll be able to be signed on with the same gamertag on both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One console at the same time. However, like today, you can only be signed into one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at a time

    I have two Xbox consoles in the house. I can sign on the Xbox One S, but not the original Xbox One in the other room. That older model prompts me with that same error code (0x800488FC) but the Xbox One S allows some sort of limited sign-in; on that newer
    console, I can sign-in to my account but all other options (i.e. friends, messages, parties, etc.) are gray and inaccessible as if I’m offline.

    Please help, Microsoft!

    Hold the power button on the console for a full 10 seconds until it turns off. Unplug it, wait a minute and turn it back on and try again. It should be fine. If not, exchange it.

    SOLVED: Kinda fiddly setting things up, but the controller lost pairing during the update for some reason hence I wasn't able to log in.

    Error Code 800704DC When trying to download profile.

    It's *** like Microsoft that think they will do more good with their Title Updates and new looks for the Dashboard & Guide when in reality they are corrupting Xbox 360 more and more along with it's users. I've been stuck with code 800704CD for a week now.
    The reason for me to re-downloading my profile is because I'm 97% sure it's corrupt due to some of Microsoft's tricks:

    1. Connect to XBL + Signing In = Disconnect from XBL even before I've signed in

    2. Turning on XBOX 360 + Account Signing In = A problem has occured while signing in... blah blah blah

    3. XBOX freezing up while signing in

    And I run a Wired Network directly to my modem with a 60Mb/s speed

    I redeemed an xbox game gift code from my friend while on pc and I can't play the game, but my friend can't refund.

    If its hooked to your Microsoft account, you can play it if you get an Xbox or sign into your Microsoft account on an xbox (Xbox One/series X/S) other than that, its basically junk unless you can get a refund

    Minecraft for Windows 11 will not load any of my data.

    Unfortunately this did not work. The new problem is when I try to sign in it get stuck on "Signing in with your Microsoft Account" screen.

    I have tried repairing and resetting (I only access Cloud data through the app) and this problem still persists.
