New XBOX ONE S(disc free) won't let me download any apps

It means the problem occurred on their servers.

As these are the times of pandemic, they would low-staffed.

Which means you would have to wait until they solve the problem.

Please help. Games and my gamepass works and downloads fine but no apps. I've tried everything all I get is "something happened on our end. Waiting could help." And I've literally given it all day. I looked up troubleshot solutions and tried them all. What

Like for example have you tried:

Xbox One disc games are region free. The days of PAL and NTSC ended with the Xbox One. There may be some region restrictions with downloading digital games, but games themselves no longer carry any PAL/NTSC labels.

If you buy an One S or a One X you won't need a transformer.

When you get your Xbox One S console, you'll be able to add your Xbox Live account to your new console. Once you do that, all your settings will transfer and you will be able to re-download all games and apps from the "Ready to Install" list in the "My Games
& Apps" section. However, any games you own on disc will need to be reinstalled

@The Monk - If you have everything installed to an external hard drive, you will be able to connect it to your new Xbox One S and be good to go.
