    I brought an xbox one s today my son downloaded call of duty II all downloaded fine but when he came to play against his friends on multiplayer it said "this current profile is not allowed to play xbox live" even though we have xbox gold already set up
    from the xbox 360

    Does xbox one s allow you to play xbox 360 games online multiplayer

    Does anybody know whether the new xbox one s, that allows for the play of xbox 360 games allows you to also play those games online with friends? I assume, you cant still play with someone who has only an xbox 360?

    If your friend has that same xbox 360 game on his xbox one, can you play online together? Or do you both need to have xbox s?

    Not a gamer here, thinking of getting my son a new console, and i'm kind clueless. haha

    I can't play online on Gta V but i have Gold

    every time i am gonna go and play online on Gta on My Xbox one s it just comes on to a singel server and i cant play with any other peoples

    to be honest i dont think there will be a way..... unless a whole new big update is released that re-writes all of the game code so that the hacked 360's cant connect...... or they stop 360's being able to play the game online and only backwards compatibility
    on the xbox one.

    That will be the only way.

    For example, my cousin plays on the Xbox one s and my brother plays on the original Xbox one. Will I be able to play online with them?

    Xbox Series X,

    They will all be able to play the same games online together, no matter who's on which of these consoles.
