New Xbox One S (1TB) says not enough space

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

To see if that solves anything.

If that doesn't solve anything try the clearing local save games option steps can be found on this link:

It shouldn't already be full but just to be sure something didn't go wrong.

Also please double check the storage space available, which is shown in the My Games & Apps section in bottom left corner

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to set up your console and downloading the game.

It could be that there was a problem with your console updating during the initial setup. If that that's the case, I would suggest trying what we call a soft factory reset of your console.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games and apps.
