New Xbox One S - 14 trial semi worked, Bad support from Live Chat

I just purchased xbox one s yesterday, I logged in using my microsoft account and activated the 14 days trialfor xbox live gold which worked fine as far as I can tell.

CARS

When I try Star Wars: The Force Unleashed it asked me to pay for it which i find strange.

I checked my subscription on the and it says i haven't had a subscription since 2006 from my xbox 360. No mentioning of my 14 days gold trial.

I connected with live support and gave them my gamertag and code for my trial. They say This code is unfortunately not for Xbox Live Gold subscription. WTH, i have the card from the box right in front of me. I bought the xbox from EBGames not some dodgey
retailer.

She even ask me to return the thing to Ebgames and tell them to fix it. I ask her to check why I have the two games under my account from Live Gold. She cannot worked it out and says it is Xbox One Home Gold share. I am the only person that even touched
the xbox

Then i was asked to test online multiplayer on the xbox with a game that dont seem to support multiplayer (Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime ). I
then tested it with Fifa17 which works.

I come back only to have the support ticket closed off as she said i was inactive. WTH, i was testing multiplayer as she has asked me to do.

If someone from Microsoft cares, could you look at this ticket 1376381958 and allow me to download star wars and fix my account.

I have two 14 day trial codes that was redeemed, then bought 1 month subscription and they were removed.

I have two codes that came with my Xbox One S Halo Bundle. I go to open it and find out the Xbox One S came with a 14 day trial and the Halo 5 came with a 14 day trial. I then go on to redeem both of the codes. A day later I get a 1 month Xbox and my two
14 day trials disappeared. I spoke with Xbox support and they told me that when I bought the 1 month the trails disappeared and they wanted to issue me a new one but they cant give out codes. They sent me here to see if I could get my two 14 day trial codes
back. Please help!

 

Xbox Live Gold Membership 14 day trial is not working

just purchased the tomb raider 1tb xbox one bundle, which comes with a 14 day xbox live gold trial. it actually says "activate your 14 day xbox live gold trial." i am having the same issues. cannot dl free games, yet able to chat. if i try to dl a free game,
it wants me to upgrade to gold. WTF? it says live gold trial! explain that!

 

Trial cards don't change your account status to gold. They only give you some aspects of online multiplayer. While you can download the Xbox One games with gold while on a trial, you do need a full gold subscription in order to download the 360 games.

 

Why cant the support person tell me that It's weird that my xbox 360 trial subscription shows on my account history but not the xbox one gold trial.

If i activate full subscription, will it allow me to download it? I got a 6 month prepaid waiting for activation. I was about to wait until the end of my 14 days before doing so.

 

Yes. Since it would be a full subscription you would be able to get the game for free.
