New (?) XBOX One S 14 Days Trial Code expired

Hi,

I just got me a XBOX One S from an official store, new and not second hand (arrived 2 days ago). Now I wanted to use the 14 days Live trial code but after insert it tells me that the code already expired. I have all the documents to prove that the console
is new and not more than 2 days in my possession. Any explanation to that?

Xbox Live Gold Free Trial

My son received a new Xbox One S today for his birthday, we purchased it from Walmart. It came with a 14 day free trial of Xbox Live (which was one of the reasons we purchased it) but whenever we went to set it up and redeem the code, it is giving me an
error message and saying the code is expired. How would it be expired when we JUST purchased it??

 

Redeeming Free Xbox Live code

i purchased an Xbox One S. As part of the deal there were two xbox live redeemeable codes. 1 x 14 days and 1 x 30 days. During the 14 days period there was an issue and it appeared the 14 days had expired. I entered the coded of the 30 day. However
the 14 day code actually finished today ( some 3 days later) however the 30 days never started. How do I recover the 30 day free period?

I understand that you just buyed it but maybe they had it in the store for months and the code expired . I'm afraid there is nothing you can do to have a new live trial code.

 

The xbox live trial codes (as all xbox live codes) have an expiration date (one year from the moment the code is issued)

I suggest you to contact your retailer to solve this issue
