New Xbox One - Preview Program - External HDD Issue

I am one participating in New XO Preview Program, when start of new dashboard the External HDD is not more recognized in system, ok, it's new... fine.

But, started download, more than 1 TB download to my HDD External, for my suprise HDD External is no more recognize in system, 4 days xbox one turned on for download and less 90% HDD stopped and any more is activated in the system.

I need one help, because formating the disk in another platform and return download is not solution, is one GAP.

Please i need support!

Need Help with Opting back into the New Xbox One Experience

I opted out of the New Xbox One Experience because I had an issue with formating my external hard drive, but I noticed that it is fixed so I would like to stay enrolled in the New Xbox One Experience.

Right now it says Preview - Existing Xbox One Experience - EnrollChangePending and Action is Pending.

I will like to stay in the New Xbox One Experience Preview Program.

Xbox One External HDD won't work

There are some issues with external HDD in the preview program, As you are in the program you should post there to get the help you need.

What is the drive's brand and model? I would suggest getting the drive to a working PC and run a diagnostic utility from the manufacturer in order to check the drive's health. Do see if the drive passes both the quick and the extended tests. For WD drives
the tool would be WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic:
products.wdc.com/.../kb.ashx

I'd contact MS's live support for this issue and see what the guys there have to say.

I use a Samsung 2TB D3 Station P / N HX-D201TDB / G dedicated since buying only use the Xbox One, conducted test on each format through software Samsung Drive Manager version 1.0.175 where the scan found no fault with hard- disk.

Maybe now I look for the power company to check fluctuations in electricity or NASA radiation of sunlight ... let's get serious!

New Xbox One is formatting the external drive on your updates, please take into consideration in their updates as download 1 TB is not easy in Brazil.
