    New Xbox one missing headset?


    Had a new unopened xbox one gears of war edition shipped from best buy without a chat headset in the box. Does this edition not come with one due to it being the first bundle with the new controller? How can I proceed with microsoft because I cannot return
    to the retailer. Thanks

    ^PS4 doesn't support CDs, MP3s, or even streaming content.

    New models most certainly launch with missing features. There's really not a whole lot of features missing from the Xbox One that the Xbox 360. Almost zero even. The problem is the way they were implemented on the Xbox One isn't exactly ideal.

    According to the Microsoft Store listing, these are the contents:

    • 500GB Xbox One console

    • Xbox One wireless controller

    • Gears of War full game download

    • Superstar Cole multiplayer skin

    • Early access to Gears of War 4 Beta

    • 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial

    • Power supply

    • High-speed HDMI cable

    It appears that you are correct that there is no headset included in this bundle, and as such there's not much I can suggest you do as that would imply you received everything you were meant to receive.

    Currently, there's no official support for third party headsets and adapters for Xbox One. Some existing headsets will work but will have some features missing (typically surround sound and voice chat).

    Playing game sound with turtle beach x11

    the headsets aren't out yet. i have no idea why turtle beach wasn't prepared for the xbox one, but the ball seems to be dropped. new consoles come out around once every 8 years, it's kind of important to have headsets for the new consoles out on release
    date.

    can you imagine how many people would have bought a set on launch day? they missed out on a lot of money imo.

    If the items in those links above don't fix your issue then buy a new xbox one headset. Trust me a new xbox one headset would be your best option. A new headset would sound better and perform better then your x12s. Turtle beach has some nice headsets that
    are pretty affordable.
