Elder Scrolls Online ditches subscription fee!

I figured it wouldn't do well. I doubt I'll even bother with it whenever I get an Xbox One. I'm more ready for a new Elder Scrolls.

I'm about to do this myself, just tried to update to the new xbox experience and it wouldn't update the whole way. Pretty upset as I have Halo 5 installed and ready to go. I'll let you know if I have a similar issue.

 

Finally, I can't wait to get rid of this UI.

 

Not a fan of the new look, Cortana is brilliant though.

 

It looks rather quite scattered to me. I also don't like that they put pins, which is supposed to be quick to get to, on the bottom. Cortana looks like what Kinect voice commands should've been a long time ago - it's also nice to use the phrase, "hey Cortana!"
instead of "Xbox" because that will avoid a whole lot of confusion with the commands (unless you're a rabid fan of Halo who talks non-stop about Cortana).

 

Almost looks like the UI the PS3 had last gen, hopefully this one will be better than the Windows 8 style UI, good job Phil Spencer.

 

The new UI looks good. Although, i can not draw a parallel to the PS3 XMB. I wonder how Themes will work with this UI

It looks ok to me, will take some getting used to, but these things always do.

 

Granted, I don't have much experience with Sony's console, but it looks eerily similar to the PS4 UI that I've seen briefly at a friend's house, which I don't like - and that has me worried.

From what you've seen, how similar/different is it from the PS4 UI (since those of you who own both will have a better idea than I)?

 

The pictures look promising. The UI does look a little more similar to the PS, which is a good thing. The old UI was mostly a jumbled mess of tiles and not intuitive in the least.

 

Cant wait to preview it wondering if I can ask cortana to sing to me like on my phone

 

i watched the preview that Major Nelson did, i don't see how it is anything like the PS4 UI, but the only thing i didn't like was that you have to scroll down past the recent apps to get to the pins, but i hope that will at least enable more pins, i already
have to be selective with my pins because i have too many.

 

If it's like the PS4, well mine has 1tb of games and it's just a single line going from left to right with each game listed, it's very beta. I don't know, I don't care any more what they do as long as my games play.
