    New Xbox one error message


    Hey guys

    I got a Xbox one for Christmas. Set it up and turned it on. Xbox loading screen comes up and then error message screen comes up with error message E305 00000001 80073CFE. Quickly googled and it seems to be something to do with an update?? So I guess I just
    take it back to the shop I got it from for a new one?

    Original Xbox 360 E74 error message- Solution

    If your Xbox 360 has failed because of the E74 error, you’ll see the following message on the screen when you turn on your Original Xbox 360 console:

    System Error. Contact Xbox Customer Support.
    E74

    If you see this error message, you must repair your console. The warranty period for the E74 error is three years from the original purchase date of the console. If the warranty period expires, you’ll have to pay for the repair.

    @RYDAxINFERNO, this thread is pretty old. Please create a new thread detailing your problems. Remember to include any error messages and codes. The above error code is actually an Xbox 360 error code, not an Xbox One error code.

    Update failed

    Console was brand new. There was no error code just a message, update failed, a system update is required to sign in to xbox live, but the update is currently unavailable. If the problem persists, visit www.xbox.com/support.

    Got this message on my old xbox and the brand new one.

    I got the same error message i can't connect to xbox live while my brother is currently using the same wifi on a diffrent xbox one and thats working i tried unplugging my router and unpluging my xbox and plugging it back in I've also tried to set up a new
