New Xbox One Elite Will Not Stop Disconnecting From Live

Hi, so I recently traded in my Xbox One for an Elite and I have had problems with internet stability shortly after playing with it. Every 10-15 seconds my Xbox now disconnects from live then after another 10-15 seconds or so, it reconnects. It doesn't stop
doing this. My original Xbox One did not have any of these problems and I also have a PS4 which also does not have any of these problems. Just this Elite. I got the console the week of or week after it was available at Gamestop, don't remember exactly when.

I have read the guidelines on here on what to do to fix internet issues but they don't work. Whether I plug an Ethernet cable into the modem or use Wi-fi, it has the same exact results. I don't use a router. My modem can take the Ethernet cables directly.

My internet service provider is Brighthouse and my download speed is 150 mbps and my upload is 10 mbps. I know it isn't my internet. All signs are pointing to the console. I don't know see anything on this site were I can contact support to help me figure
out if this an internal issue with my system and to possibly get it replaced. If not, I believe I still have the receipt and can return it but I would like to know if other people are having issues with Elite consoles as well and hopefully a solution that
will prove something isn't wrong with my Xbox.

I have a xbox elite and wireless adapter, it keeps disconnecting from xbox live randomly

Sounds like you are using a modem/router combo device. Would you provide the make and model of your modem? There are several threads on here that have Brighthouse as their ISP that are experiencing the same issue. Also, there was a large update to the
XBOX One from Microsoft today. Hopefully, that update will correct some of the issues that people are experiencing. Of course, you will first have to get a stable connection to be able to download and apply the update.

Genesis1953 is right , and that router you have seems to have been the model hit the hardest , several others here have reported Brighthouse came out and replaced theirs so I would give them a call ...
