New Xbox one does not power on

    New Xbox one does not power on


    New Xbox one does not power on.

    I have just unpacked and connected my Xbox one. But I am unable to power it on.

    I have tried the trouble shooting guide.

    There is power to the supply, the led is flashing White and orange.

    When touching the power on button on the console, it will give a short sound. But it does not start up and the power supply keeps on flashing.

    Anyone tried this?

    I have request a repair. selecting the problem, but the packaging guide tells me not to ship the power supply, only the console. This seems stupid.

    Xbox does not power on...

    xbox does not power on....what to do?.......like after switching it on the white light on xbox one blinks for 2 sec and then goes off.......

    If you just bought that at a local store return it there asap.

    It'll be MUCH quicker than sending it to Microsoft.

    Generally that offer is for users new to Xbox Live, if you power cycle your Xbox One by pressing the power button for 8-10 seconds (until your Xbox One powers off), does the advertisement still show for you?

    If it is the original Xbox One with the separate
    power supply     then you will need to obtain a new power supply suitable for use in the US. If your console is one of the newer Xbox One S or Xbox One X consoles then all you will need to do is obtain a new power cable.
    So does Microsoft have a power supply with 220v that I could buy?

    The Xbox One S does not require a power supply, or power brick, the power supply for the Xbox One S is on the inside. It seems like what you need is just a new cord. Am I right or did I misunderstand?
