    New Xbox one controller keeps disconnecting


    My new Xbox one controller that has the share button keeps disconnecting and reconnecting to the xbox. I have checked to make sure the controller is updated more than once. I have changed from battery packs to actual batteries still does it. The only
    time it doesn't disconnect is when I have it directly plugged into the console. I have 2 controllers and they both are doing this since I updated them. I bought the new one thinking the old controller was just saying time to get a new one. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks, CristofKaiser, indeed with a brand new controller it keeps disconnecting, so it's not the controller. [Update:] now the controllers work on my PC, but still no news on the Xbox One.

    I'll keep you posted if I find a solution.

    Just to confirm, does the controller still disconnect with the cable as well? Does it disconnect randomly, or only at specific times in particular?

    What’s the exact model of the controller, and is this a third party one or a genuine one? If it’s an official Microsoft one, you can find the version number in the battery compartment.
