    New Xbox One controller drivers broken


    So i was playing some games on my xbox one and i updated my controller with the xbox accessory app and then i went to connect my controller to my pc (ive never had an issue connecting until now) when i went to wireless pair my controller via bluetooth
    it connected but then told me that there was a driver error so i thought maybe my pc needs an update so i checked there nope no update needed so i checked my controller maybe it didn't update like i thought nope newest firmware so i tried to connect using
    USB cable that worked just fine so i attempted to update the drivers on the controller with my pc device manager but it tells me i have the newest drivers already and i have no idea what to do ive even looked into ways of possible rolling back the firmware
    but haven't found a solution that works.

    sadly my controller is over a year old and it was a gift so i dont have the receipt it seems to work fine with the xbox and it connects wireless to my pc but it wont allow me to use it unless i use a usb it worked
    perfectly fine until i updated using my xbox

    Hey. There's a controller troubleshooter I would recommend trying out that I'll link you to. I'm not particularly adept on things related to the PC. However, I do know most controllers are covered by a standard 90-day manufacturer's warranty. There should
    be details about it in the fine print in the owner's manual that came with your controller and it should also be online if you don't have that still. On top of that depending on where you bought it from, there could be another warranty on it if you still have
    the receipt or definite proof the controller is defective.
