New Xbox one Controller D pad issues

Hey Mister Quimby, just purchase a lunar white controller a week and a half ago and having the same issue... the left d-pad when pressed doesn't work most of the time.. you hear the clicking but doesn't go.. you really have to press it down in order for
it to work.. a shame really.. rest of the controller is nice.

I bought my controller over 90 days ago and I thought I was going nuts but I am having the same darn issue! i thought the menus were lagging but nope it's the controller. I think it's been over 90 days so i am most likely beat. So sad =(

I also have the dpad problem with the covert forces controller which is very frustrating.

I just recieved the new Covert Forces Edition, and the D-Pad up makes a kinda "click" everytime its pushed up loosely, quite disturbing while playing and you are resting your hand there. It's almost as if the D-Pad is loose on the upper side :| Anything
to do?

Just recieved a Lunar White Controller with the new headphone jack and am experiencing the same problem.... Takes 5-10 light presses or 1 very hard unnecessary press. Shame because the controller is perfect other than that. If someone could get back to me
that would be great.

No D-pad issues here, but still looking for a solution to my controller drifting issue. I've tried every suggestion and contacted Support on numerous occasions but keep coming to a dead end. Microsoft's only solution is for me to go out and buy a new controller.
PLEASE help!
