New XBOX ONE Contoller in June makes Chatadapter useless?

In June comes a new controller with a new audio port like the 360s controller had.

Does that mean I dont need a chat adapter anymore to use my Astro A40 when I buy this controller?

Lets make it short...

- Bought A40 & Mixamp in 2011, paid 250€, ok, works great, had a lot fun with it.

- Didnt worked on XO (first there was also no 5.1 optical out sound, but that was solved) until Chatadapter release in february 2014. Paid 20€ for that.

- But I had a beep noise sent from my headset to my friends in partychat. No Controllerupdate solved that problem. Other Astro Users and some Turtle Beach owners had the same issue.

- Astros Mixamp 2015 Pro uses updates and Astro was able to remove the noise via update on the mixamp pro 2015. Bought it in November 14 for Halo MCC. Paid 150€.

Now: a little over a half year later comes a controller with audio port which makes me think "why did I spent so much money?", otherwise it sounds to me (in case the new controller audio port makes the chat adapter not a must have!) like "haha, you bought
all that stuff to make your old headset work on XO, you dont need that anymore, but thanks for the money".

Seriously, if thats the case, I will be mad about that.

Any information about that yet?

Plug n Play chargers

Hi all,

Does anyone have a problem with plug n play chargers with the new Xbox one X contoller? They work in my old xbox one controller, but not in the New Xbox one X controller. It's the Orb charger. Any ideas,

New Xbox One X contoller

The controller that came with my Xbox One X will not charge on my Onkyo charger. Apparently the dimensions are not the same as the original Xbox One controller. What controller does it compare to in dimensions?

There is no confirmation or discussion of any new controller yet. I have seen the rumors floating about. I have a Turtle Beach headset and DSS myself so will have to wait and see with everyone else.

A Microsoft representative responded (to Polygon) saying, "the team is focused on showcasing more games and experiences at E3 but has nothing else to share at the moment."

Just make sure that if you preorder through the dash that you are using the primary / player one contoller or the achievement still won't pop.

The Xbox team didn't make the game. Activision doens't even have contol on their recent games let alone COD4.

Well it works fine on a different internet (at my sisters home) but I'd much rather not change my own internet plan, so unless there is a way to make it work with my internet my Xbox One is officially useless.

I just don't understand why everything worked just fine before June and everything still works fine except installing and updating games, system updates for the Xbox One download just fine though.
