    New Xbox no internet how do we use Xbox


    hi we hope you can help as Xbox only allow support via this forum. We have just bought a TV and official XBox brand new to play games and watch dvds. We have no internet as this is a holiday home and using Bluetooth my phone cannot find Xbox; maybe the Xbox
    doesn’t have Bluetooth. There is no manual with the Xbox. The online manual takes you through steps that insist on internet access. The manual states that a system update must be done before the machine can be used. Is this correct? We bought it as a strictly
    off line device. Is there any way to bypass the set up menu that insists on connecting to a network to watch film and play films Many thanks in advance.

    Xbox One connection problem

    My Xbox One states it is wired to the Internet but I only use wifi. There are no plugs connected except the HDMI and power cable. How can I fix this or do I need to get a new one?

    Changing emails linked to xbox accounts...

    we are switching internet companies and will not have the emails that we used to setup the accounts on xbox a long time ago. we will be getting new emails and want to use them for our accounts in the future. how do you go about changing it so that you are
    able to use the new emails to sign in to the gamertag and xbox live. i saw where you can change the billing info email but have read it is different than the gamertag email. please help

    If it's an Xbox One then that is correct. It has to go through an initial update in order to fully start. Afterwards you can set it to offline use. There is no way to bypass the update.

    With all the issues with Xbox Live lately, Xbox should make it so we can still play downloaded games without needing an internet connection! This is ridiculous that we spend atleast $59.99 for a new game but yet cannot play it without an internet connection.
    How about refunding us some of our money back if the products and services we have paid for are not able to be used!

    Do you use also a new router together with your faster internet?

    Have you made a connection test? Maybe your Nat is not open,there is a thread pinned up here in this forum.

    How does it look with your upnp.

    But at first i think you should make a connection test,that is the best first step with issues like that.

    Do you use Wlan or cable,old or new xbox?

    Give us more information and we can help you better.

    I guess you know where you can do this test on xbox?!
