    New Xbox mobile app (Beta) Discussion Megathread?


    Thought I'd start a discussion thread if that is allowed, doesn't seem entirely relevant for r/xboxone since this is the beta version of the app. Would like to hear everyone else's opinion.

    I'm on Android 9: Moto g6, not entirely sure if the iOS version is updated, but I assume it is.


    I'll start with the good:
    ​

    • App is very fast.


    • UI is great, I like the Home screen showing active friends.


    • Friends List actually loads.


    • Glad some redundant or one-time-use features are gone, like the first-time system start tab.

    Now the bad:
    ​

    • No way to tell if a friend is in a party. Add "Happing Now".


    • Very complicated to join the party.


    • No way to change Gamerpic.


    • Store is gone, hopefully comes as separate app but I doubt that will happen with how app stores work.


    • "Jump Back In" just tells me to download the game, not start it. In fact every game is telling me to download.


    • Can't sort friends by Online


    • Can't interact with Clubs. Doesn't seem like I can share to Clubs either.


    • Can't see achievement progress.

    Overall, the app is looking great, and I have no doubt that most of my issues will be fixed. I only hope they come soon.

    So do you like it or hate it?

    Hi there, all people in mobile devices have this problem, Xbox app in New version of Xbox app for mobiles not supported sending captures, I recommend if you want you can install a old version of Xbox app, and install Xbox app beta, so then you have new and old versions

    Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member, you can find your perks on your console within the Xbox Game Pass tab, in the new Xbox (beta) app on Windows
    10 PC, or within the Xbox Game Pass mobile app. And as Zenosos said Pso2 is Na and Canada only

    Xbox App not working (Android)

    I always have issues with the app, from trying to connect it to my xbox in the house from other app options. Tried to clear cache, tried normal Xbox app and Xbox Beta app on mobile with no luck.

    Have you tried the Xbox App Beta on PC or tried logging into the Xbox App for mobile?

    Have you tried to login to the same account on the Xbox App on a different PC to isolate the issue?
