New Xbox Issues

Hi all,

I bought a 500GB Xb1 when it was released. All set up nicely, red colour and a personalised background of an achievement, images showing correctly, as youd expect.

Now today i bought a 1TB Xbox One Forza Edition and set it up. However, no images are showing; my avatar image, friends avater images, adverts and what not on the whats on and store tabs. Also unable to change the xbox theme to red, it says 'Sorry, we are
unable to show colours at the moment' - also there are no thumbnails displaying on any achievements ive unlocked so i cannot set the background image. When i do set an achievement as a background image it doesnt show, and the tiles are not semi-transparrent,
despite the settings menu showing it should be.

finally, my pins dont display thumbnails, nor does All4 work when selecting the pin!

Whats happened, has anyone experienced this before?

New Xbox Issues

Hello,

Managed to get the issue fixed as it was still happening with the new Xbox. It seems to have been something with the sound and the hdmi cables I was using. I fixed it by trying to set the display to dvi, which automatically turned off the hdmi sound. At
first I didn't notice the sound was off for a minute but then persevered for a half hour and the black flicker never happened, so I went and bought an optical cable so I could put the sound straight to my soundbar, rather than hdmi to the TV and then on to
the soundbar. Used the Xbox a fair bit yesterday and no issues so think that's it.

That's definitely odd. Let's start by clearing the Xbox One system cache by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds. After your console powers down, go ahead and boot back up to see if the results change.

If the issue persists, let's
Remove your Xbox Profile from the console and then sign it back in.

Try those two solutions out and then let us know how it goes!

As Keedle pointed out, power cycling does not affect your storage. That method just gives the Xbox One console a fresh boot! If the problems you may be running into persists, please create a new thread so the community can provide support tailored to you!
