New Xbox gold account, old xbox

I have my xbox one s I got about 4 years ago. My roommate at the time set it up for me when lfirst got it. He thought it would be funny to give me a rediculous email, password, and gamer tag. . . I stoped playing for a while and now that i am back on, i
set up a new account. Long story short, l would like to know if i can get rid of the old account but still be able to keep and play all the games that i bought with the old account?

You can't merge accounts. You can just use the Home setting to share the games. If you're not using the old account, you wouldn't need gold for it at all. If you do need to use it, you can set the console as the Home for your new account in order to share
the gold with the old account.

OK. Cuz I just bought cod and I used all my relevant info for it. So I have my gold account on the newer one but all my games. Like 30 or 40 of them are on the account I don't want to use. Can I blend the two accounts or will I have to have two different
gold passes.?

If you sign into the new console with the old account, you can set the console as that account's Home console. This will allow you to access the games from the new account. https://support-origin.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-setup/my-home-xbox
You won't be able to transfer progress or some in-game items though.

I do not believe you can delete your old account but keep your games. However you should be able to change your email and gamertag.
