New Xbox & Games On HD

Hi All, My kids day 1 Xbox had a fault and I bought them the S console today. All of their games were saved to external HD however on setting up I'm finding that any game we click on it comes up with a message about not owning the game and to go to the store.
I've made sure that the correct child was signed in for the relevant game and even tried having both signed it however we still get the same results!

Is there a way round this or do I have to actually un-install every game then re-install them? I've tried this and whilst it worked it's a bit of a pain.

New TV for Xbox One.

You want full HD for games, doesn't make a difference on TV unless you have a HD source (Ya know HD package on Sky or UPC) I find HD ready generally means it's only capable of 720p. If you're investing in a new tv make sure you get one that is Full 1080p
HD.

Is it possible to use multiple hard drives with a 360?

I am fairly new to the 360 community & am still learning the ins & outs of the console. I have an original (fat) 120GB HD Elite model & have upgraded the HD to a 250GB one. I hanged on to the 120GB HD in hopes that I can use it in the future when the 250GB
HD gets filled up. My question is, if I put my XBL profile on a flash stick can I use both HDs to install & download games to? I was thinking that if my profile was on a flash stick so I could sign into XBL with either HD on my 360, I should be able to install
disc based games & download XBLA games to either HD & just swap the HDs out to play games that are on either one. Is this possible or am I wrong about this? Thanks in advance for any info on this cause 250GB is not going to last me for too long.

 

on each account set this new console as the home console under settings, remember that you can only do this a finite amount of times per year.

 

home xbox shouldn't matter if its connected to live though ( which I assume it is as a couple of games were redownloaded )

 

What I found was that although the Xbox knows there are games on the external HD, it kind of doesn't. All I did was re-download the games, the console doesn't actually re-download them, the bar start at 0% and then instantly jumps to 100%.

I think all its doing is populating the internal HDD with some sort of file, just to tell the console that the game is owned by XXXXXXX and its on the hard drive and ok to play.

 

Yeah, i think its just a simple redownloading of the Game/Add-on that will fix the Problem,

I've had this issue before with my Game DLC after have to hard reset my Xbox One, the Games worked fine, but wouldn't recognixe any of the add-ons I'd bought (until I uninstalled them + reinstalled them, that is)
