Discus and support New Xbox Gamepass App/Pin not loading anything in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; So I just saw the new implementation of looking at Xbox Game Pass content on console and I like that I don't have to open it as a separate App anymore...     New Xbox Gamepass App/Pin not loading anything


    So I just saw the new implementation of looking at Xbox Game Pass content on console and I like that I don't have to open it as a separate App anymore but it's not loading anything for me even after multiple tries. The only thing that works is looking at it by going onto the game Pass Tab under my library but that is missing some functionality compared to the "App".

    Xbox PC app requires Windows Hello Pin despite Windows Hello being disabled on all devices

    Hi, thank you for the advice but it specifically is not asking for an Xbox pin, and will not let me enter more than four digits when prompted for my non-existent pin. Whenever it says my pin is incorrect, it explicitly tells me to change my pin through Windows Hello. Everything that is going on here is all on Windows computers. No consoles are involved. I can't get a screenshot at the moment as the computer that's been having the error is currently in use and I cannot get access to it, I will edit this post or reply to it with a screenshot when I am able to get to it. A quick rundown of the situation is as follows:

    There are two computers upstairs, one with Gamepass Ultimate, one without

    We are trying to put the Gamepass Ultimate account onto the computer that does not have it.

    When trying to sign in, the Xbox PC app asks for a Windows Hello Pin that does not exist

    There is no possible way to bypass this pin, and no pins work, as no pin exists.

    We try logging a different account onto the computer, it asks for another pin that does not exist.

    App thinks its a dictionary attack and locks us out of the Xbox PC app

    We just want to get my account onto a new computer, that's all we want, but it's asking for login info that doesn't exist

    Xbox one no games are available offline except pins, on my home Xbox.

    I have some games that are not installed in my pins anymore, and they show up as just empty boxes with the name of the game, which I am not trying to play as they are not installed.

    When I go to add a game to my pins, and select "games and apps" and "all available" it just loads forever. when I change the "all available" to "installed", or "ready to install" it just loads forever as well.

    If I choose "games" and all available or installed, it loads forever. Loads forever is the swirly circle thing that just keeps looping.

    Just more information I figured I would look under pins since that had some games in it, but it doesn't load anything, not even the ones that show up in that group from games and apps.

    I tried restarting my xbox twice too.*

    Yeah I went to try and load the old Sky as I had that in the pins section but it wouldn't work. Seen in the apps this new one, that's the only way I noticed lol.

    Hi Ai,

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble logging in to Gamepass on your partner’s PC. I can understand how frustrating that must be.

    The PIN that it is requesting is likely the Windows Hello PIN, which is used to sign in to your Microsoft account on Windows 11 devices. If you have not set up a PIN before, then you may need to do so in order to log in to Gamepass on your partner's PC.

    If you’ve forgotten your PIN and can’t access restricted console features, you can reset it by entering any 6-digit combination three times, then entering your Microsoft account password when prompted, and then selecting Make a new PIN.

    If you get a request to enter a PIN that you forgot, you can enter an incorrect PIN multiple times, and the device will ask you for your regular Microsoft account password. Then simply sign in with that particular password instead of using the PIN.

    If you can’t go beyond the sign-in screen, you can select Forgot my password and follow the instructions. You can also check if the Set time setting automatically is turned on in your PC’s Time & language settings.

    If none of those options work, you can try to remove your Microsoft account from your PC’s Accounts settings, then go back to the Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed.

    You can also try to reinstall the Xbox Game Pass app or login in the Xbox Companion App first.

    If you continue to experience issues, you may want to try logging in to Gamepass using a different device to see if the issue is specific to your partner's PC.

    I had the same issue myself, had a few different consoles due to disc drive issues, put the preview dashboard app in your pins, when you sign in on another console your pins come with you, load up the app un-enrol the old system and enrol the new one, i
    think this can be done three times. There is likely another way but this worked for me
