New xbox game isn't reading correctly

All Blu-ray discs are "see through"

They've been around for 16 years, so it's not new. As the disc only contains a small loader program, it's definitely a BD-25, the most basic disc.

I would guess that your drive is getting old, without knowing which console you're using

I haven't tried but I'm just going to return the disc and try to get the digital version, I think the solution to this problem would be never buy an Xbox disc again because the new see through type discs never seem to work, I don't think they have improved the laser enough to even process those types of discs, but thank you

Perhaps it is set-up to connect to the Xbox One version of the friends list? Could be why it isn't reading the 360 incarnation correctly.
