New Xbox, family sharing now broken (No Destiny: Taken King access)

I currently have 2 xbox 1s in my house. The one my son uses (xbox home console) and mine. I bought the second xbox so I could play Destiny with him. I am the only one that has a Gold account. We have been playing together just fine since Xmas. I have
the digital collectors and we both have access to all the DLC expansions and also all the in game goodies that come with the digital downloads. I recently bought a new Xbox One S to replace the home xbox 1 my son uses. He inherited my xbox 1 and I now have
the xbox 1s. I set the xbox 1 as the home xbox (the one my son uses) and now my he no longer has access to the taken king (aka all the DLC). I also reset that xbox today and reinstalled everything under my account after I set it as the home xbox. I thought
this might jiggle he license but he still doesn't have access. What am I missing here?

    :)

  2. XBox upgrade and Destiny Expansion 3 $the Taken King$ not longer accessible

I purchased Destiny the Taken King Expansion pass last year for my XBox 360. I just upgraded to XBox one, but now can't access the Taken King. Any ideas?

Destiny: The Taken King Purchase issues

I just purchased Destiny: The Taken King via the Microsoft store site. I followed the link on the Destiny: The Taken King site to purchase the game for Xbox 360. Although the link said purchase for Xbox One, I assumed that this purchase would transfer across
both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles, as I found no other option for purchasing The Taken King. However, after purchasing The Taken King content for $42.75, I can find no way to access this content on my Xbox 360. Is there a way to access the content on
Xbox 360, or to receive a refund for my purchase, as I do not own an Xbox one.

The Taken King was actually not made shareable by Bungie. He would have to purchase it on his account in order to play it.

Did they do this retro actively? Because we have been playing TTK for months.

If your account was signed in at the same time, then he would have access to it. But it's been that way since the Taken King was released.

It hasn't always been this way as I just stated. We have been playing TTK like this since xmas. It stopped working when I got a new xbox.

New Xbox, family sharing now broken (No Destiny: Taken King access)

I just figured it out. Under the "my apps and games" you need to "manage" the game. I assumed that the DLC was attached to my account. It was in additional download on the manage page for the game. There were 8 additional items that needed to be downloaded.
Once these were downloaded, my son had access to everything like he did before. This works as long as he is on the "home" xbox.
