New xbox elite controller. Well made controller but i'm disappointed!

I got my new elite controller today and was very please when i opened the box and held it in my hand and felt the weight and admired the build quality. I paired it with my console and downloaded the app to configure it. The first thing i wanted
to do was to create a config for destiny, to remap the mele key to a paddle at the back... imagine my disappointment when i found i cant remap the RB, to a paddle on the back!!!!

Is this a feature going to happen anytime soon or have i just bought an expesnive controller and the first thing i wanted it to do it can't do!? Is there any other way of remapping the mele button to the back paddle?

Elite controller

I really like my new Elite console and Elite controller.

My Day One console was a scratch magnet due to the piano black finish so am enjoying the matt black finish.

Elite controller is heavy and well made so I expect it to last a long time.

 

just been out to Microsoft support about a problem with a elite controller just to be fobbed off

Just been online with Microsoft about problems I'm having with the shoulder buttons on a elite controller just to be fobbed of and told to buy a new one! I'm totally disappointed in you Microsoft I have 3 Xbox ones and was going to buy Scorpio when it arrives
but I'm not so sure now

 

You should be able to remap rb to the back. I have done the exact same thing for both destiny and halo.

I did it undrr quick button mapping

 

I'm having the same problem - when I use quick button mapping, I click rb, then click back paddle and it says ""unmapped".

Am I supposed to click back paddle first and then rb?

 

If you want to have the paddle as melee, you need to remap the paddle to be RB, not remap the RB. I.e. do it the other way around, set paddle to be RB not RB to be paddle.
