Hey guys,

I'm new to Xbox loving it so far I've came from a occasional PC gamer just doing a bit of an introduction,

My gamertag and if your thinking "he must love tea" you would be correct!

But my real name is Ryan I am a father to two little princesses that are my world along side gaming I'm a greenkeeper for a golf course during the day but I'm an achievement hunter by night lol or at least I will be.

I don't have a favourite game genre so please do recommend some good games on 360 or xb1

I am also looking to add some friends,followers ect being new my list is empty lol

My gamer score goal to hit this week is 2000g wish me luck!

New Console Gamer

Hi,

This summer I decided a gaming console would be ideal for me and for friends to come over. By coincidence, I saw the Xbox One will be released this fall. I've played Kinect and really liked it, but this will be my first console! Seems like I am one of few people starting out with the XB1 as their first console. (I play PC games: Minecraft, puzzle & MMOs.) Very happy to have a place to ask questions.

If your looking for Xbox live try CD Keys they usually have some good deals on and you may also want to check out EA Access it is £4 per month or £20 for a years access which gives you a whole host of games which you get to own whilst you keep your subscription
up to date

Probably another thing worth purchasing would be an external hard drive as the memory fills up real quick!!

You also get "Deals with Gold" which is a sale that goes up every Tuesday.You can sometimes get some good bargains in that.

Your Gamertag can only be on one console at a time. You can move your Gamertag and profile onto a flash drive (format it first on your xbox) or memory unit and just transfer it to the new console. You could also go through the "Recover Gamertag" process
on the new console which allows it to be downloaded after you enter in your e-mail and password associated with the account.. Both are relatively quick solutions. Once its up and going on the new console, you can just delete it off the old one. Even if
you went back to your old console and tried to use the Gamertag/Profile, it would let you know that the profile needs to be recovered since it's on a different console.

Xbox is the only console that DID support hardcore gamers.With the new dashboard it seems like they're going for the techno geek crowd, & the drama queens of facebook, twitter....Hopefully a new company will make a console for us hardcore gamers! R.I.P.

Hardcore console gamers does NOT mean FPS junkies and you know what the say about people who assume, right? I would just like the crappy low budget games with horrible gameplay mechanics and graphics to not clog up the arteries of the new Xbox console.
What is the point of making games for a new console if the games aren't even up to par with the console's abilities?
