Welcome to the newly upgraded Xbox.com Forums! You’ll notice a lot of differences and improvements – we hope you enjoy them, because they’re just the start!

The forums aren’t perfect (yet). We still have a handful of stuff to work on, like bringing back pictures and signatures, and maybe working on overall organisation. There are some bugs and kinks to straighten out too. We know about them and everything will

xbox one gamer card?

When Xbox fixes the integration on their end it will fix it. It does this also on the Xbox.com forums. The gamercards are actually being pulled from xbox.com's website the same way they're displayed on xbox.com forums. Another thing I found with them is the new avatar gamerpictures that you make on the xbox one will make your gamerpic an avatar with grainy background. That's why many show up with the avatar and grainy background now.

 

Help needed ?

Looks like a trip to game for a exchange as people on the xbox.com forums have been exchanging their consoles and then updating the new ones and getting a second update that fixes the problem,

You looked a little lonely in here so thought I say thanks for the welcome! I kind of like these new forums and got used to them pretty quick as well.

I've got to ask about the statement 'from the Australian mod team' haha is that literally just you? If so, thanks for all your hard work for us Aussies! =)

 

I like to think there are a couple of lurkers with powers. I know Xtramalt is always watching!

I agree that the new forums are a much better layout than what we had for the past three years. Things seem to be working, and the layout is a lot friendlier to the eye.

 

Well thanks to any lurkers that might pop in as well!

Now we just need the Australian population to come back to the forums. I wish there was some way to bring more traffic to this section, but I guess most would have moved on a long time ago.

It has always been here. It just was harder to find in the past. Sadly not many other Aussie's post here much anymore but a few are still around lurking.

 

^There actually was a time where the Aussie section went missing for a few months, so not sure if that's what Azza means.

If it's been that long since he's been back then wow, haha!

still zooming around here, may not post as much but still pop in from time to time to have a sticky beak,

not really sure on the white background tho :/ but does look fresh - took me a few mins to work out where the aus section was.

I've been an avid xbox enthusiast for years and unfortunately due to my semi remote location my son and I have never been online gamers due to slow internet and expense. So I am awfully disappointed that when I purchased an box one for us for Xmas this year
I found out the hard way that you can't play any game on the xbox one without first downloading an update straight out of the box, then after waiting hrs for that to finish we put halo 5 in to be told it needs an 18gb install straight up. I have an internet
plan of 3gb, which was chewed up and then some on the initial "update", of a brand new box, go figure, then when the internet had already slowed to a crawl because of busting my allowance I then wait 6+hrs to get only a few percent into the game download,
the xbox went to sleep and stopped the download then I had to unplug to move house, long and the short of it is it cost me hundreds on extra internet, wasted many many hrs and still haven't played one minute of one game on an expensive seemingly waste of money
and increased stress. I am currently trying to access faster broadband but being Xmas we won't get that until well into the new year. Why is it that, what should be the best console by Microsoft seems to be much lesser a machine than its predecessor or even
its predecessor??? I should have spent the extra money on buying the backward compatible model, at least then we may have actually been able to play a game by now!!!! I honestly think I should be reimbursed the several hundred it's going to cost me in Internet
bills that were unexpected, because I've spent bucketloads over the years buying Microsoft products, including 4 360's, three of which had the rings of death, and prior to that 3 xbox originals two wore out through excessive play. Hundreds of game titles over
the years, and I expected to be able to turn my xbox one on put in a game and play, and the only ongoing cost I expected was games and possibly batteries.

 

There's no one on it because what's the point.This console was obviously not made or even modified for Australians. Most Multi-Player games are to laggy to play,but you do get to enjoy all the hate mail from americans for being laggy.Even got banned from
communications for two weeks for answering one of them in the nature as I received them.Competitions are region locked(If they work at all)Sooooooooooo what is there to talk about exactly?How stupid we feel for buying this rubbish?OK then. Very. I feel Very
stupid.But hey.The forums been spruced up. Yipee.

 

OH.Didn't realise the dates.XBOX in Australia.What a sad,pathetic,expensive waste of time.
