    New Xbox App & Xbox Console Companion Error.


    Hi, I've been having several difficulties with the Xbox Companion App ever since the new "Xbox App" was released I have been unable to stream games on my Xbox One S. "We couldn't stream from your console. Try again later." is what it says, it has no error
    code or what so ever. The new Xbox App does not allowed streaming apparently and there is no icons, connection things or anything related to streaming on it. I've been streaming from youtube and no longer can do this because of errors in the Xbox Companion
    App everything I've done worked in December and I no longer know what has happened. And I know this Project xCloud hasn't came out so it is very difficult to release content. If you could let me know how to fix this problem it'd be highly appreciated.

    Let's try running the Xbox console companion app first not the Xbox app, sign in to the Xbox Console companion app, and kindly ignore the prompt to use the new app. Try launching or installing the games by going to the games section.

    I'm talking about the new Xbox app for Windows 10, not the Xbox Console Companion app. The Xbox Console Companion app works fine. I am talking about this version of the Xbox app. To answer your question, I have version 48.76.8001.00000 of the Xbox Console Companion app. That version number seems to be higher than the one on the page you linked.
