    New Xbox 1S setup


    I am setting up my Xbox 1 S for the first time. I am in a rv park and accidentally used the park wifi available to set up the internet connection. It is way too slow to do the initial update so I would like to change my connection
    over to my Verizon network. Now that the console is trying to update...how do I stop the update to switch the internet connections.

    XBOX 1s setup

    I am trying to setup my xbox 1s on a smart TV but everytime I get to the add wifi option it resets me to the first step. Ive tried turning it off and on, unplugging it, and using different networks but without fail every time it just sends be back to the
    "Press A" step (step 1)

    Does a XBox 1 controller work in the new XBox 1s.

    Just wondering if the controller from a Xbox 1 will work on the new Xbox 1s..I got the 1 terabyte gears of war edition for my nephew for Christmas and the store where I got the 1s never had any extra controllers for it in stock.Hope his Xbox 1 controller,and
    he's got 2, will work on the 1s so my 2 nephews can play together on it..Any info appreciated.

    I would try performing a hard reset on the console by doing the following:

    While the console is on, hold the power down for 10 seconds.

    Settings, network, network settings, disconnect wireless. Then settings, network, network settings, set up wireless network.

    2 xbox's / 2 gold accounts...how do I play downloaded games on both?

    You would have to set the new xbox as son 1s Home xbox then son 2 would be able to play any digitall game that son 1 owns. You can also share the gold subscription this way so really would only need one gold subscription.

    Now if Son 2 would want to play on Son 1s console he would have to be signed in with son 1s account since you can only set one console at a time as the home console and can only switch which console is the home console 5 times a year.

    Once you've redeemed a code it will either download automatically (if set up) or it will wait for you to download from the "ready to download" section under games and apps on the account that you used to redeem the code.
