New X Box one X wont stay on

Hi Guys,

I have just purchased a brand new xbox one x for my son for his birthday. He turned it on to set it up and complete updates. He updated a couple of games and then went to find the newly downloaded NBA2K20 game when the console turned off. The console
X (on) button will light up when pressed but will not stay on. We have tried to reset power source by unplugging and then re-plugging in. Have tried multiple power points that all work with other devices. Any ideas?? I'm not familiar at all with Xbox's.
So upset and disappointed. Thanks in advance.

If you can't get it to work after trying the steps found at https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/console-turns-off-unexpectedly
like Stuart has suggested then I would take it back to the store while it is still in the return policy time frame.

Thanks, I've read there are issues with the power supply to these units? Have you heard of that? I think we will just need to call up and get replaced. Very disappointing though.

That seems a Font Problem, you have warrent time?
