New X-Box one wont update.

I brought a new X-Box one console today, followed the instructions, plugged it all in but it wont update. Just says there was a problem with the update. I've tried it both wired and wireless and it still wont work. Anyone know whats wrong??

X box one wont load up

been a preview member for six months or so. just got the new dashboard update and now my x box wont load past the green start up x box one screen please help. also i would have posted in the preview section but i cant get into it.

My nephew kept getting update message every time he turned x box on. After one week he updated and now x box wont work. Any help please

 

having the exact same problem, got my console today... so frustrating

 

Same problem. Even tried the offline reset/update without result. Does this have anything to do with the current Xbox live problems? If not can anybody provide help on this issue?

 

There is a mayor issue with the xbox live service right now, so this maqy cause your problems. I'd suggest to wait 'til the issue is fixed and then try again.

xbox LIVE core services are down... but should that affect the setup of the console, as im not even logged in to live yet?

 

Yes this is possible as this may be needed to verify the os version of your console and to set up your account.

 

I`m having the same problem after doing a factory reset, stupidly trying to change the nat to open i couldnt get an internet connection, thats sorted but now its stuck on the ""There was a problem with the update page". Very frustrating

 

Bit sick of the site saying check back in 30 mins, then 30 mins later, check back in half an hour.... just give us a rough eta..

 

It's definitely not possible to give an ETA when you are not knowing what's wrong and still are searching for the cause of the problem. This is not a regular scheduled check up, where you may calculate the time needed.

 

having same problem got mine today did a update fine then wanted me to do another update

which it wont do. not happy seen as i payed £350 just to not play it!! get it sorted or

its goin bk to shop n il get ps4 bet will hav no problems

 

is there any way i can talk/chat directly to someone who know xbox tech support?? xbox norway told me to call them back after this thing was fixed, but ofcourse they have gone home for the day...

 

Only way for you would be to try to chat to the US support or check the status of the XBL service from time to time.
