New X box one green xbox screen then black

i just bought a new x box one set it up and i get the green x box one screen then black i can not do anything else

Can anyone help, when I start my x box one it starts by loading the green logo screen for around 30 seconds, then the screen just goes black and will not go any further

Xbox one s won't boot uo

New Xbox one s console.

Turn it on and Xbox comes up on green screen then black screen then restarts.

Help fixing this please.

i turn on the unit i get the green x box logo then it goes black i cant do anything else

i used a different hdmi cable changed the hdmi port on tv i reset the unit by unplugging it for 5 mins

 

Hi Cloudiest! There are some other folks in another thread who have run into the black screen and were able to fix it using the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool. Information and instructions can be found at the following link:

In most cases, OSUDT2 is the file to use, but since yours is a brand new system, likely in the middle of its first update, I would suggest trying OSUDT1 first.
