New wireless adapter for windows 10

Hello

Does anyone have a driver for the new slim variant of the wireless adapter for windows 10 model 1790. All the drivers on the Microsoft catalog site do not work with this new one, it just says the device cannot start. Next to that the device is not recognized
by windows 10 itself, it just says XBOX acc in the device manager. Can anybody help me out with this one.

Microsoft or Xbox support if you read this could you write a driver for me real quick?

Noob question for all Xbox elite controller owning people.

If you buy the new wireless adapter, it will only work with windows 10. Unless there is a driver hidden away somewhere, it will not install on windows 7. I don't own 8.1 so I can't confirm.

If so, the drivers would be the most up to date currently and may not be the cause of the issue you are running into.

Can you describe exactly what steps you have tried so far and send us the specs for your current PC?
