New WiFi router cannot connect Xbox One to WiFi

Are you getting any error messages? Does the xbox see your wireless network?

I know you said you tried a hard reset but if your xbox is not seeing your wireless network try another one EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the
back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test the results.

i just bought a new Xbox One, and i cannot connect to the wifi, i cannot update it cause i cannot connect to the wifi, and i don't even know what to do at the moment, any help please.

My xbox one x is hardwired and is already connected... its older xbox one that is wireless and cant connect... I would hardwire it but it's set up on other side of my place... other systems and devices connect to new wifi router no problem... its just

if wired connection is working fine - use it

if u need to use WIFI connection - disable wifi networking on router, set new name (ssid) enable wifi networking from router (keep secure with wpa2/psk at least), SET Wifi Channel to default, and SET COUNTRY ! try to connect through wifi

Ports and your ISP usually don't have anything to do with a wireless connection failing, as the WiFi connection is only between your console and the router.

Is your console by chance enrolled in the Insider Preview Program?

While my Xbox One X works without issues via WiFi, the patch notes on some Insider Previews state that they are investigating cases with WiFi connectivity issues, and that people should report via the Feedback tool if their console loses WiFi connectivity.

It would help if you also said which WiFi router you are using, maybe there is an incompatibility between the Xbox One X and certain router models.
