New Upload Studio makes extremely jerky videos

Before the update to Upload Studio there was no issue with image quality whatsoever, I've regularly edited and uploaded videos from the app. But since the new update came out and you can insert all those fancy effects (which are useful by the way), the end
results are extremely jerky. Whereas the original Game DVR clips are smooth, what comes out of Upload Studio is stuttering all the time. The screen stutters as if the framerate was extremely bad. I've noticed this in both a Trials Fusion and
a Destiny video so it's not game specific. These videos are barely enjoyable at all.

I agree with you. But also with the 10 minutes per recording, you can actually make 30 minute clips with Upload Studio by just combining them. But, I wish I was able to make my videos more than 10 minutes long without having to use Upload Studio.

 

Upload Studio Files on Xbox Don't work anymore?

Hi for the past year I have been making videos on my Xbox one useing upload studio, but since yesterday me and my friends that do the videos can't share anything that's saved as a upload studio file, we can make small videos and share them as GTA or fallout
4 game files, but all the ones saved as upload studio have disappeared from our showcase etc, we can watch them still in our game captures but not share like we used to? Any ideas why this has happened to us?

 

I have been noticing this as well. I can't believe more people haven't said anything about it as it's extremely noticeable. Makes every game look like it has severe stuttering.

 

Yes, it was immediately noticable. I would like someone to clarify if Microsoft is aware of the problem and whether they are working on a fix. Until then we better upload the raw videos directly to YouTube. Which is a shame, considering all the cool new
effects Upload Studio provides.

 

Yeah, I'm being forced to upload captures to Youtube and edit them using their video editor. I actually really liked the new Upload Studio but the video it outputs now is a big downgrade.

 

Having this problem too. I informed them on Twitter, support team didn't even know about it. It's ridiculous. It's a slideshow now I can't believe nobody noticed. Even uploading the raw unedited clips to One Drive, I'm still getting the same result. About
15-20 fps by the look of it. Can't use it in that state. Wish more people would speak up on this!

 

It's really hard to believe SOMEONE didn't notice the rendering was considerably worse. Maybe it's a case of "It's good enough and most people won't care".

 

But it's so noticable that I can't imagine most people wouldn't notice it. The first video I made with the new Upload Studio was from Trials Fusion, and I couldn't believe how jerky it was. Then I made a nice video from Destiny but it was the same. Even
with slow camera movement the stuttering is clearly visible.

 

Anyone heard anything on this since? Word of a patch or anything? I tested it again yesterday, still the same.

 

No one has said anything. Most of the current threads on this forum at the moment are about Upload Studio bugs, though. So maybe something is getting fixed. Just hope this is one of them.

 

We should probably contact the support via chat or phone. It might be a more efficient channel.

 

I just noticed this too. It is pretty bad. Here's a clip from Halo that seems pretty bad framerate wise.

Just updated the app, was sure it would be fixed but....nope. Nice work everyone!

 

Updated as well. Almost seems worse now. Looks like this is something we'll just have to get used to for a while. Gonna use Sharefactory on PS4 from now on until this gets fixed. The Youtube editor is pretty awful unless you're just trimming a video.
