    New update to Microsoft Jigsaw? Unable to get previous version achievements now???


    So, I'm a 100% achievement person. The Microsoft Windows Jigsaw game apparently just got updated from being windows 8 to windows 10, which is now counting as a completely different game.

    I need to complete the windows 8 version. I just had some stupid grinders that were going to take a few months to finish. Is it even possible to get them now? I don't see any version control for this game. Would the achievements unlock on both the
    8 and 10 version if I unlocked them on the 10? There's seems to be a weird sync with the versions. It saved all my progress in the app so, for example, because I had already played 10 medium puzzles, on this new version I just played one medium puzzle but
    still unlocked that achievement.

    I know this is pretty specific and whoever is reading is rolling their eyes. But I seriously have a problem with 100%ing games.

    I'm unable to find "Microsoft Jigsaw Cacti" or the "017-000" error code that you're referring too but I will continue to investigate. Is this the game that you're referring too? It is possible that there is a new version of the game:

    I think for previous ownership you had to own the digital license to get the new minecraft for xbox one. There are two versions, although the old version still seems to get all the updates so I am somewhat confused myself what is truly different between
    the two other than having a stack of all the achievements....

    Microsoft Treasure Hunt Achievements

    I thought I had selected the appropriate drop downs. It is Games For Windows and the name of the game is in the title. Microsoft Treasure Hunt.

    There is no disc for this as it is a windows store game and i had no option on the update. I just opened the game and it was a new version. Although the Windows Store says it came out in 2014 the new version definitely just came out. But the achievements
    are "re" unlocking since it went to square zero with the update but they seem to be from another title. I am guessing a Windows 8 versus a UWP platform. But I have no way now it seems to unlock the last achievement of the original list because I do not see
    how to get back to that version. I have even tried doing Windows Restore to previous points but to no avail.

    there is a new 1.2 update. It brought back statistics and SOME of the previous games. But now I've lost my new games that I had started in version 1.1

    This could be a Windows 8.0 vs 8.1 issue.

    I was only able to update to version 1.8.0.31029 of Minesweeper on Windows 8.0, and none of the new achievements unlocked, despite uninstalling/reinstalling/updating and repeatedly starting Adventure over at Level 1.

    I'm now on Windows 8.1 (possibly only temporarily if I run into the issues I did in the past with it), was able to update to version 2.1.1312.2409 (I didn't check to see what the base version of Minesweeper for Windows 8.1 was before updating), and the new
    achievements are now unlocking for me.
