new update messed up my xbox 360. halp?

So i woke up yesterday and went to turn on my xbox to play a game of cod2. A notification for an update popped up and so naturally i accepted it. it started the download then it stopped with an error code. since then my xbox freezes on the constant update
notification. with constant error codes. i have done the cache reset and still nothing. am i going to have to factory reset my xbox to fix it? i don't want to have to download all my games again.

New Update Messed up my Xbox

I woke up this morning to my Xbox updating, After it reached 69% applying I got an Error E1 and I tried all the troubleshooting except for USB (getting one later) if the USB doesn't work I'm not sure what I can do

Now when I use the USB it gets to 1% and then I get error 101

I don't have a error code from the new update but my xbox keeps freezen all the time now. Works fine before the update.

Hey mate,

They'll tell you to go to the preview program support forums no doubt, as that is the only place to go for a support agent who works on the program as far as I'm aware.

Have you tried it with an ethernet cable? Just to rule out whether its the wireless receiver causing the issues. Just something to try whilst we're waiting for your access
