New update lagging games??

I just updated to the new system update this morning. As soon as it was done I jumped into some call of duty and now I am getting very noticeable FPS lag that was never there last night before I patched. Has anyone else been experiencing this or noticed
it in other games?

^^Yeah, the patches/updates will "tweak" connections throughout CODs lifespan. Itll be good for some (like you) and bad for others. So usually after an update, the forums will get flooded with brand new "Im lagging" threads.

 

after UPDATE.....

after I did my update on my XBOX ONE and the COD ghost......it keeps Synchronizing and it will take a few mins but it always pops up every time I play...... is this normal? I'm also experiencing some lagging really bad...checked all the cables and everything
but still lagging...FWI i'm using Wifi only......but seriously after my Update it's been LAGGING HORRIBLY

 

Sometimes your ISP is having a bad day...it happens.

 

I know the difference between FPS and regular lag buddy and this is not ISP lag. Other people who were playing COD earlier said they were noticing it too.

 

That's what happens when you let those with money remove net neutrality. :|

 

I dont play COD buddy so i don't know i guess...BF4 works fine for me.

 

That's a bummer. I think it is running a bit faster on my end. Had a few glitches and slow down on Watch Dogs last night but everything has been crisp and quick for me today after the update.

 

I don't play Call of Duty, but on Titanfall everything was as smooth as normal.

It's NOT entirely your ISP's fault, but still best to be with a good ISP regardless if your on ADSL of Fibre. Some services to Xbox Live do go down sometimes. It's also the way they designed the software on Xbox 1 console. Well at least they didn't put Windows
Vista onto Xbox 1 - that was a horrible OS. Game developers can also choose to use Microsoft's servers or their own servers. It's down to several factors, not-just your own internet speed.
