New Update for Microsoft Mahjong

I have installed the new update for mahjong and restarted the computer. Now when I try to get into the game it states There is a problem with Microsoft Mahjong. Contact your system administrator about repairing or reinstalling it. Please help.

just bought a new computer - Microsoft Solitaire working well and signed in - cannot get the Mahjong to sign in, nor can I type in the support window to chat to someone.

Have just tried to download my Microsoft Mahjong to a new computer. Microsoft Solitaire signs in with no problems, the Mahjong does not. Any hints/tips please.

The update also caused mahjong to hang on one of my computers. If I install it fresh on another laptop, it works. After the update on the other laptop, though, it just hangs. I tried uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it, but it seems like uninstalling
doesn't really remove the files that cause the hang? I went into the WindowsApps folder and I still saw the mahjong folders and files there after doing an uninstall.

 

I am finally getting into Mahjong with one problem. While I am playing the game it keeps PAUSING which takes time away from completing the game.

Let's try a refreshed installation of the game in order to see if this will fix the trouble you're having. To do so, uninstall the game and then restart your system or device by selecting the “Restart” option from the shutdown menu. Once you’re back up and
running, press the Windows Key+R and type wsreset.exe in the dialog box and press Enter. This will refresh and re-open the Windows Store app and you can reinstall the game.

Please let us know if a refreshed installation gets you back into the game. If it does not, please let us know what version of the game you're running as well as the type of device and the device's OS.
