New update for games

Hi Brad,

I have paused the installation and resumed it several times but don't seem to be working. Do you mean that I should pause the installation now and try it later or have I misunderstood?

By the way I can't have paused the installation until I've started my Xbox. When I put on the Xbox I knew that Rainbow Six Siege would be updated. So I just checked how long it would take but when I looked I realized that the whole game was being installed.

It had also happened before when I wantedto update Fifa .

The issue is that I don't even have external drive. All of games that I mentioned are installed on Xbox itself so I don't think that is where can look back and solve the problem but thank you for your response.

Sometimes if you don't have the default drive in the same place like let's say you have your game on the internal drive and you switched to an external drive, then game will be reinstalled completely on the new drive. Therefore its good to specify where
you would like the game to go so that it only downloads the update and not the whole thing.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand have a question on updates. Are you pausing or cancelling the update at all? If you cancel and try and update later, this will uninstall the game to prevent corruption. Also if updating and it continuously stops
or pauses it can reinstall the complete game.
