New update destroyed controller

i tried to update my day one version of the Xbox controller (after applying preview program dashboard update) via a usb cable and as soon as it began I recieved an error Which said to try again. I looked at my controller and it was off and the LED light
on the charge and play kit was off, sometimes sputtering a very dim orange So I tried a hard restart multiple times as well as a variety of new out-of-the-pack batteries and the charge and play adapter with & without the rechargeable battery pack but I cant
get the controller to power on at all. It is as if it were dropped in water. Has anyone else experienced this and found a resolution? I just keep getting jerked along with the typical hard restart change battery BS.

side note. I do not have another controller or usb cable

Please take away the new update, it has destroy ME as well as slowng down youtbe & other application

Plase remove the new update it has destroyed Microsoft Edge along with slowing down other applications .. #fix

 

I'm experiencing the same problem. I was playing battlefield talking to my friends and controller turned off, tried to turn it back on wouldn't turn on. Replaced batteries and still wouldn't turn on, plugged it in to usb and nothing. Don't know what to do
and don't have another controller someone please help I've tried every possible method and nothings worked.

 

I have the same problem. When i'm playing on wireless the controller lost the conection and if i plugged it in to usb it turn off or do not respond the comands. I have two controllers and the both do the same thing. All this begin to happen after the preview
of the Windows 10.

 

After contacting them via Twitter @xboxsupport and trying various troubleshoots they told me my controller was in need of a replacement. So I guess the update broke my controller

 

I am having the same exact problem. Are they going to replace the controller?

 

same with me went off when updating controller on preview,its dead even with usb cable dead!!!
