New Twitch update is broken!

Same for me here, Twitch won't broadcast and then locks up anything from working, like apps and powering down the console. I was part of the recent dashboard beta, had no problems, surely they should of let Twitch broadcasting be part of it too so things
like this could of been found out quicker <.<

I'd do anything to be able to wire my XBOne into my router, but given my layout it would be impossible.

I have tried everything else with no dice, though. The closest it gets to actually broadcasting is "testing" my connection speed before going back out to the start broadcast screen. I also noticed that after successfully recognizing what game I'm playing,
it will say it detects an "unknown game" after a few seconds.

Pretty much at that point, everything with the console is messed up and requires a hard shutdown.

 

Odd, I had no issues streaming on my Xbox One. Have you guys contacted Xbox Support on Twitter for assistance?

 

i called xbox support and did everything they wanted me to for a hr and none worked. then was told to not use it and wait. from what he said they have had alot of phone calls about this.

 

I have the same issues as everyone else here too. In the end I had had enough and gave up.

 

Same problem here! It goes to broadcast, then goes to broadcast fail, then to broadcast again... and it stays in loop.

 

Just tried again, deleted data, uninstalled, reinstalled, a couple cold boots for good measure, and nothing has changed. This is beyond disappointing.

 

Same here. I will wait for a solution and not use the app untill then...

 

Same problem with me. It gives me the Unknown Game error, breaks my apps and I can't turn off my Xbox. I also have a broken Kinect that I am waiting to be returned to me, I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Couple these issues with the Xbox Live problems yesterday and I tried to rage buy a PS4 on Amazon last night because I couldn't play Titanfall. Lucky for Microsoft they are STILL sold out. I'm getting really frustrated with all of this and I'm about to sell
everything and just go PS4. I need a solution for this and fast.

 

I have same as above people, but now i know at leasr what app to not start untill further updates.

With this twitch update I just realize how stupid I am to trust people behind xboxlive in this gen.(they said they are best of the best). I am hoping that the xboxlive service to be better or the same as what I used to in my 360. I tried all the steps to
fix twitch and it did work. Now my X1 is full of bugs and running slow. If you guys will fix my X1 problem and bring it back to normal ASAP, then I will consider riding the PS4 tide. Sorry MS but no more begging for mercy.

 

I did everything that XboxSupport asked me to do on twitter and what Twitch support is saying on it's webpage.

Nothing worked. It's broken.
