New Twitch update is broken!

I had the exact same issue as most of you, would just launch the stream, and then would 'lock' up my box, when I tried, it would 'test connection' and just bounce back, nothing in preview window and just general fail all round

However, I got mine working after a bit of playing around. Basically what I did was fresh install and setup of everything..

This was:

1. Freshly cold boot. No apps running.

2. Uninstalled Twitch

3. Removed the connection from the Twitch.tv site
www.twitch.tv/.../connections (click on xbox and a disconnect should come up)

4. Cold booted the box (prolly didn't need too, but did for good measure)

5. Reinstalled the Twitch app.

6. Launched the app (without any game running)

7. Logged in and redid the 'activate'

8. Hit broadcast - the box automatically launched into games and apps. Twitch moved to the snap

9. Launched a game and it worked was able broadcast.

Hope this helps some of you out.

I tried this earlier today with only temporary results. It seems to only effect twitch on xbox. When I attempt to broadcast on my ps4 it works fine. There was a update for twitch a few days ago so I'm thinking that the update broke something.

March 11 is when we will see the new twitch update.

 

This still doesn't work after all those steps.

 

I did also reset my 'privacy and online safety' to adult defaults. Then changed the 'Share content made with Kinect' to Block - my Kinect is on the fritz and waiting for a replacement (Not sure if that is relevant)

 

I updated yesterday the app and after i tried to broadcast my xbox stopped responding and starting games. i forced to turn off the xbox. After i uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now wrks very well.

So, not working over here. But also, when i go to my system settings, the whole "See if you’re online” is set to “Everyone” and “Broadcast gameplay” is set to “Allow.” stuff isn't there. I don't see any new options, but do have the march update. The hell?

 

So, when i start Twitch in broadcast, I can see the preview, the game and title. Then when i launch it keeps checking my bandwidth. After that everything breaks. Preview is gone, game is not found and broadcasting isn't an option.

 

It worked for me some hours ago until my router decided to restart. From now on i keep getting "Übertragungsfehler - Bei der Übertragung ist ein Fehler aufgetreten" ("Broadcast Error - An error occured while broadcasting").

I un- and reinstalled it like 10 times and i've been cold booting my console over and over again and tried the whole activation thing... but nothing could fix this.

 

Okay, so, i tried the following:

I went to 'my games & apps', clicked 'menu' on the installed twitch app, then went to 'manage app'. On the right side you have to delete the stuff. Once done that, i deinstalled twitch. Cold bootedmy console, then reinstalled it again and voila, seems to
work now.

 

That deleting save file thingy worked for me. Thanks!

 

Same thing here. Even doing the troubleshooting steps.

Xbox One is a "day one" faill ever...

 

Same boat as you all, and I also tried uninstalling and re-installing after hard reboots, this is just garbage man....1st bf4 didn't and still doesn't work...now this on top of everything else ffs MS can you make ANYTHING that works on day 1? I don't mind
not being able to broadcast but fn up the whole machine in process of trying? Do you people not have a fn QC department or testers or anything?

 

I did the step about deleting..uninstall...hard reboot....reinstall and same endless loop of not knowing anything and having to reboot again to keep everything else from being ***'d...the hell with it.
