New twitch streaming capabilities

I am pumped to try it out, but i really hope to gawsh there is update to the streaming overlay bar after you start your stream … i.e. i want to hide it.

If you are playing a game, it is nice to be able to reposition it, but it is too big and becomes an obstruction to your view.

I find myself sometimes looking at my stream just to be able to check something in my game because I can’t see it due to the streaming overlay bar.

On top of that, the overlay bar never seems to display correct information, so I don’t even think it works properly. There are times where twitch says one thing, and the overlay bar says another in terms of numbers of people watching.

I hope with this new update that there will be the ability to hide it or make it even smaller somehow …

I’m jumping the gun here by posting this before testing it out, but I actually just wanted to send kudos to the xbox dev team for focusing on making it easier to stream games to twitch.

I currently use the Twitch app, and then pay a 3rd party company called LightStream to add overlays and things to my xbox stream, but I’ll be eager to try this out. Regardless though, my feedback on the overlay twitch streaming bar stands.
